Hi all,

I am new to the forum so apologies if this question is a bit long winded. My family and I would like to move to Australia. As a primary teacher I have identified that my profession is on the SOL. However my degree in Primary education was only 3 years long. Everything I have read about teaching in Australia seems to suggest that only 4 year degrees are recognised. Does anyone know if this is the case or will my qualifications be acceptable. I would appreciate any advice or information you can give me.

Thanks,
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Welcome to the forum.

Look at this website: Welcome to Teaching Australia

You can find the ASCO definition and loads more. It doesn't mention about 4 years though. Anyhoo, have a look and see if it helps.
