Hubby visiting Australia in a couple of weeks.

Can he take tea bags for his Aunt from the UK to OZ?:plane:
What about some biscuits?

This might not be an accurate list but here goes:

prohibited and restricted imports


Tea & Biscuits should be fine.

Looks like he'll have to leave his whales, dolphins and porpoises at home though!

Just make sure she makes a declaration that she is bringing in foodstuff when she arrives at Customs. As long as it is in the original package there shouldn't be a problem.

We bought over bottles of HP sauce, bisto gravy powder (cos the gravy here is pants) and crisps. We declared it, they looked at a few of the boxes and all was OK. No dramas.

I once brought over 5kg of food and declared it all. Everything was allowed through - even the homemade garlic sauce and homemade dried seafood.
