Hi,

Hubby was asking if UK TV will work in Oz, is it worth taking?
He says he remembers a time where they didn't and he's not sure if that changed...

Also he's going there this week just to visit and he's taking a few biscuit tins and English tea as little gifts for his aunts, do you know if they can go wrapped from here or costums will want to open it to see the original package?
I'm not sure if I can/should wrap pressies or not... And hubby can't wrap.

We had to put our house price down (again ) to sell quicker.
We wanted to go Jan. but that would be impossible now, so we're aiming at March/April.
I'm just a bit upset our eldest will loose a whole term at school.

We're just sooo stressed lately!!!

Can't wait to have everything organized for us to go...lane:
Winter is coming, central heating is now on... another UK winter!:smow:

Hi Busyte,

Your TV will work over here if you buy a set top box, which is around $30.

Don't gift wrap the tea or biccies because when you declare them customs will want to check them. You won't have any problems getting them through customs.

Sorry to hear about your house woes, it will all come right in the end....but it's a very stressful time for you.

I shouldn't worry too much about your eldest losing a term, what year will he be going in to?

Our eldest is 7, started year 2 this September, and for what I researched, if I'm not mistaken she'll be going to year 2 again when we get there.
