Hi,
As some of you know, I got my proposed civil partnership visa!! yayayay.

I've been looking online at how to change it the Civil Partnership- after the ceremony- and the UKBA talks about 'switching' but I don't seem to be able to find out how. How to make the appointment, and what to take, and the cost.

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks nyclon, is it really another £1400, and do I pay that every 2.5 years?

Not quite as much - £579 by post or £978 in-person same-day service.

Once again in 2.5 years (at whatever the fee is at that point) and settlement SET(M) in further 30 months - £1051 or £1426 in today's fees.

If it's any consolation, Australian government charge as much for UK migrants to live and eventually settle there.

I think for a partner visa applied outside Australia, it's A$3085 (£1845), and A$4575 (£2735) inside Australia.
