Hi all

Arrived in France 6 days ago. Noticed that the pump on the pool was not working. Turned it on but the lights blew. Tried to contact the French gentleman who maintained the pool on several occasions and left messages but no response. Can anyone recommend a pool maintenance person in the nontron area.

Thanks

Ann

Can't help with pump man...but try this

TURN OFF THE LECCY......TURN OFF THE LECCY

Then open up the motor end of the pump - usually 3 or 4 small screws in difficult positions. You will now be able to see the small cooling fan. Try turning it by hand - sometimes the motor sticks and then has very high current consumption. If you can't first time then a few squirts of WD40 may help - but not too much - it is very inflammable. Then replace the cover ( having found the lost screws!) and then...

TURN ON THE LECCY.

And then try switching the pump.

Good luck....DejW
