You don't need birth certificates
You don't need police report
You don't need support letters- they are subjective and won't be considered
You need his passport
You need a sample itinerary for when he'd like to travel
You need Appendix 2 and a copy of the online application
You need a passport photo for him

accommodation:
Full tenancy agreement
Letter from housing assocaiation saying he can live here
Council tax bill
Photos of flat
Rent statement
Electric bill
You don't need photos
You don't need the rent statement
You need either a council tax bill or an electric bill not both

Finance/employment:
Summary of how i meet cat a
6 months pay slip
6 months bank statement
Full contract
Employers letter
You don't need a summary
You should include your P60

Evidence of relationship:
Letter from employer proving i worked in his country for 3 years
Rental contract from both apartments we shared. Translated. And reciepts.
Entrance/exit stamps in my passport
Travel itineries and boarding cards from visits we both made to uk for holidays and visits i made to him before i lived with him

Home phone bills nov to now
Recipts from money transfers nov to now
20 photos from 2010 to now
You don't need receipts for money transfers
15 photos max
Your father's visits are irrelevant
10-15 log pages max of communication
If you've lived together for 3 years you should have more evidence of that
You don't need itineraries for trips you took to the UK whilst living together

The application, Appendix 2 and all documents must be handed in together. Applications from the Dominican Republic aren't processed in Sheffield. He must submit everything including supporting documents in the Dominican Republic.

You seem to have awful lot of communications evidence. It should come to no more than 10 pages of A4 when printed out.
You don't need much as you've been married 3 years. Just evidence you've kept in touch when apart.

As nyclon states, you hand over your documents when you go for your biometrics at Santo Domingo. Your visa will be processed in Kingston, Jamaica.

You should enclose P60 for 2014-15 when available (soon).
Proposed flight schedule.
You only need to quote the secret number for his English test.

Thanks nyclon. Ill take some things out. The living together all i have is contracts and rent reciepts as the bills were included in the rent. Obviously i have photos thats about it. Im afraid your giving wrong information about the process from the dominican republic though. Since last year the applications have been sent to jamica (more recently new york) for approval and supporting documents need to be sent to sheffield directly. This is the same as jamican applications.

Where does it say your documents are sent to Sheffield? Everything goes to the decision making centre in Kingston. They may internally send them on to Sheffield but this has nothing to do with you.

Ok, but VFS Global site still says you submit everything when you attend biometrics in Santo Domingo?

I noticed that too. Perhaps that is for a visit visa. But since sept last year every settlement visa that i know off has actually be done this way and the visas granted. This is the same way it operates in usa and now jamiaca too. Also once you pay online according to people who have applied before it give you the address where to send your documents to ans a refernce number.

Not quite. Your passport is retained in Kingston and visa is still affixed to your passport there - just the consideration of your application takes place in Sheffield. For US and Canada, everything is done at Vulcan House and passport has to be sent there too.
