My husband will be working very close to London Paddington station. We have 2 kids aged 4.5 and 8 and looking for an area within 30 minute commute for my husband. We have a budget of around 500 pounds per week for rent and prefer 3 bedroom place but we can be flexible on the type of accommodation, just looking for an area that has a nice community feel, some schooling options, good areas for bike riding, some playgrounds, farmers market, and a few family friendly cafes. Any suggestions for areas or resources to read, would be most appreciated!

£500 a week for rent in London is not a great deal really - London has horrifically high living costs compared to everywhere else in the country!

I would look into the local commutable areas such as Reading, Milton Keynes etc. It might be a bit longer to commute, but much nicer for your children and you get a lot more for your £. Try right move website for an idea.
