Hi Friends,

I will be travelling to sydney in last week of July 2017 just to activate my PR.
I will be staying there for just a week time.
Could you please suggest some good hotels/ accommodation in an area which has good connectivity and restaurants available, which i can user for a weeks time?
Since this will be my first trip and like many other friends in the forum, i am bit anxious on how to go about it.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

If you dont mind to stay at dirty but cheap hostels, you will find heaps around Central Station.
relatively clean and comfortable ones are on George street around world square.
There are many backpackers in kings cross, also close to the city.

you can compare prices and can check comments on Trip A. and booking.com

bottom line, dont expect any comfort. I spent 2 weeks in 2010 in a hostel located in the city centre. I met the most weird people you can imagine.

If I had to stay in backpackers again, I would go for a single room.
