Hi,
Unfortunately, my student got rejected two weeks back. The reason given was that i am not a genuine temporary entrant.
I am a business law graduate who was applying for a course in the cyber security field. it was more of a conversion course than anything else. The visa assessing officer concluded that even though i have thorough knowledge of the course, university and outcomes of the course, there isn't sufficient evidence for me to come back to my home country. The officer assessed that i do not have any business or financial ties to come to my home country.

My question is, if i apply again with improved financials and a better SOP, are there any chances my visa gets approved?

The uni may provide me with a certificate of being a genuine student since i was eligible for a scholarship too.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks in advance

I think it is better to apply through a MARA agent who specialises in students visas

They know exactly which areas you are lacking and can help you beef it up

Go through a reputed agent and not a fly by night operator who submit false and forged documents which may land you in trouble down the line
Cheers

Hi,

Business or financial ties back to your home country is only one aspect of being a genuine temporary entrant.

I agree with the comment from the gentlemen above. It is probably best to review this with a registered migration agent to see what your next steps are.
