Hi,

My question is about the conversion of state sponsored PR to Citizenship.

If we get the state sponsorship and then start living in that state, we have to live there for two years. It is the condition I think.

But just after 1 year, if we become eligible for Citizenship and get the citizenship then do we still have to live in that state.

The 2 year residency obligation is imposed by the state that sponsored you and not DIAC (or I guess DIBP now). As such, to meet that obligation, it's expected that you'll remain in the state for those 2 years even if you are eligible to apply for citizenship after 1 year of being a PR.
