Hi, I own a home in Spain whose only water source is a private spring. That spring seems to be drying up and we have little water. Is the local town hall obliged to add us to the town water? Has anyone had a similar experience please?

This is difficult to answer because each regional authority is in charge of its own water supply issues so what somebody knows about Madrid or Malaga won't necessary be what happens in Asturias.
However I can't see why the Town Hall would have any obligation to add you to the main supply...

Have contacted your local water company? You may have to pay for pipes to wherever the nearest supply is.

Do you have a deposit? Most people without mains water arrange a tanker if their own supply falls short.
