My wife applied for spouse visa from Philippines. Sheffield sent email saying decision will be made in 12 weeks.
It's been 13 weeks since biometrics were taken at VFS, but we have not heard anything. What action shall I take now? Thanks

The current processing time as published on gov.uk from Manilla Phillipines for 100% applications is 60 working days.

You should call UKV&I enquiry line and ask for case to be escalated. Will cost you about £20-£25 - robbery I know. Get an escalation case number from them. Can take up to 15 working days for a response.

All cases are currently delayed due to large backlogs.

Did you apply standard or priority?

Does not really matter but will add a little weight if it was priority.

Good luck

I applied for a tier 2 and it's also currently delayed.
