Hello
I need your help...
I have just started working as an apprentice (£5.5/hr) and working 45 hrs a week which makes my income of 6 months about £ 5702.my husband has not gone to work due to his illness since past few months but still get his payslips of £0 (unpaid) .hopefully he will join his work in April 23.he works 35 hr / week. I need to apply by end of August 23.

Will I be able to fulfill the threshold of £18600.?
If he provide six months payslips in which ,one month is unpaid for eg
March £0
April - august (£1000/month)
Will that be considered or not???

So you are applying for a spouse visa extention.
You certainly do not meet the financial requirements
If he is starting work in April then he would need to be working for 6 months before his income could be used.

How long has you husband worked for this company? As he does not get paid for sickness is he on hourly paid and/or zero contract? Does he get sickness benefit from the State?

To apply under Cat A you need 6 months of payslips from each of you amounting to gross income of 18,600 GBP. From what you say even if husband goes back to work starting April1st he will only have 5 months of payslips. You will have only earned 5,702 GBP in 6 months.
You won't qualify using just income I'm afraid.
If you can't earn more in the interim period, then you would need savings and/or a gift from friends/relatives to make up the shortfall. If you apply you might be eligible to move to the 10 year route, but I can't provide any further info on that.

Assuming he will return to work for the same employer, if so, then his period lost in unpaid sickness won't be counted as lost and would be discounted. Means to say, that his continuous employment with his present employer would remain unbroken but he would have to supply extra payslips & bank statements. For instance, if somebody was sick for one month then he will have to supply the documents covering the last 7 months. But the unpaid sick leave must have had been taken place within the last 12 months to avail the above discount. So if he will return to work next month and resolve to earn the required income then hopefully by August he would be able to meet the requirement. Normally an income of £9300 earned solely/collectively during the last six months meets the requirement. Also, if you have cash savings or any income from any legal source then don't leave it idle because it can be combined to cover the shortfall.

Depending on how long the sponsor has been sick, the following formula could be used to show how the financial requirements could be met:

Example (b) The applicant’s partner is relying on Category A non-salaried employment but had 2 weeks’ unpaid sick leave 2 months prior to the date of application. This 2 week period will be discounted for the purposes of the application and it will not break the 6 month period of continuous employment required. The applicant’s partner can show that they meet the annualised average income required over a period of 6 months and 2 weeks prior to the date of application.

However if the sponsor is not returning to work until April then that takes one to end of September before one can make the application.
