My wife and I are applying for her visa to join me here.

I am on carers allowance, and also earn around 85 pounds per week, so after accommodation costs (which are 0) then I receive above 113.70 pounds per week, so should be okay on that front.

I have been on carers allowance for around 5 months, and have had the job for just over two months, so I think that is okay.

I think that I need a letter from the employer stating that I work there, and what I earn. Could anyone offer any advice on what else that letter needs to contain - any key words or phrases that I should include, or avoid?

My job is basically in the provisional stage of a permanent contract, I spoke to my supervisor the other day and they said that they would try and get my contract made permanent, should I just ask them to say that it is permanent in the letter? I assume that it would look better than the job being temporary.

Then how does my application look with the carers allowance and the job for those lengths of time?

Thanks in advance.
