Hi,

I got an invitation for the subclass 189, and am in the process of applying for the visa. I got my spouse's passport, kids passport and everything is ready, except my spouse English test.

While filling the visa application, I mentioned my spouse:
1. having functional English
2. didn't taken any English Test.

Is it mandatory for the spouse to go through English test before I submit the Visa application? Or I can submit, and meanwhile she can go through the test and submit if questioned?

Can any one help me in clarifying this!

Regards
Siva Prasad

Thanks Keeda for the swift reply.

I forgot to mention earlier that she completed her masters in English medium and we have transcripts stating that.

So, There's no need to take up any English test. When do I need to submit those letters/transcripts?

She need not take any additional test then, but if the transcripts do not explicitly mention that the medium of instructions was English, then consider getting a letter from the college.

You should submit them along with all other documents. Upload them into the "Language Ability - English, Evidence of" category.
