Hi Everyone,

I need your expert advice in my case, I have submitted EOI in June 2013 for 189 and I mentioned in EOI to bring my spouse along with me, but unfortunately we have been separated just now not divorced yet, my concern is, if I got invitation in coming 3 or 4 months then what should I do, either I should show separation or something else, please advice.

Thanks in advance.

Your EOI is still open to edit,You can add/remove the dependents and modify other data till you are invited .

If the data affects the score then your EOI date will be changed and you will be pushed to the back of the queue otherwise no problem.

Thanks Srikar for prompt reply,

I need to ask two more things, what should I edit in EOI, should I remove this that I won't add my spouse? and second, if I remove my spouse from EOI then is it possible that if things are settled down in future then can I add her later or after my grant can I apply for her visa later?

Adding a spouse after visa grant is way more complicated and more expensive. I assume you can leave her on your EOI and still apply for the visa alone later - I don't see why removing a person later could pose an issue.

no. remove her. because non migrating dependent as well needs to undergo Meds and PCC.
So if things are sour, remove her and add later. ofcourse you shell out 3590 AUD instead of 2000 AUD around. Processing time is around 1 year although people get grant in 6 months or so.
