Hi Guys,

I and my wife are currently in Australia. I am the sponser for my wife's 'spouse visa'. She got bridging visa and the 'Spouse Visa' application is currently being assessed.

My employment with current employer will terminate soon. Will this impact my Partner's spouse Visa processing? If yes, in what way?

I read in documentation that Sponsor should have some kind of employment. Could you please advise?

Kind regards,
Guru

would you be able to give other users an insight of what visa you have or what restrictions you have or had...so they can answer ...

No, your employment circumstances will not affect your partner's application in any way.

EDIT: If your employment circumstances will affect your immigration status (e.g. if you hold a 187 visa and are voluntarily resigning your job before completing 2 years with your employer), that may be an issue for you which would then impact your wife's application if your visa were cancelled.
