Hi all,
Prepping some paperwork for our visa and have a couple of questions!

My husband and I both work in the UK, have been with the same employers for over a year and collectively earn above the £18,600 threshold. Within the last six months we have both had pay rises and I was under the impression that we'd apply under category A. However, on the form it says have you been in the same job earning the amount stated for six months. Shall we put down the lowest our salary has been in the last six months? Even though our employer letters state our current, higher rate?

Also do we need to write sponsor/applicant cover letters? We have a premium appointment booked.

Thanks!

If you are salaried, take the lowest amount and annualise it. If you are non-salaried, take an average over 6 months. Employment letter stating current pay is fine.
You don't need applicant's and sponsor's letter for premium service but if there is anything special you wish to explain, you can write one.
