speech problem

I want to ask you one question. It is very important to me. I plan to apply for skilled migration visa(subclass 175, traffic engineer) but I have some doubts. I have speech problem, I stammer:(. I stammer when I am very nervous or when I am in the middle of a spotlight. It is not big but it shows. When I am not nervous I speak pretty well. The question: Is there any discrimination in Australia about this? I mean, could I find any job considering my problem? I hope somebody will answer me:). In my country there is a huge discrimination, and that is the reason I am asking? Should I apply or not???

No way! I've never heard of discrimination against stammering. But I do find it distracting. One might say a baby has very short attention span but some adults' spans are not much better. So interviewers might get distracted.

That's something you can work on, I think.

Your bigger problem is finding out if you are on the CSL. And the biggest elephant in the room is "Do you want to migrate to Oz. Why?"
Thank you for your quick answer. It is good to hear all that.
Yes, I am working on my speech. It is good, but I am not satisfied with that. I want it to be a perfect :). I read a lot of english books and all that out load (I heard it is good for stammering). I also have some audio tapes on english. I listen to them and it helps:).
Why I want to move to Australia??? If I told you, you wouldn't believe me.
I live in a country where corruption, criminal and all other bad things rule. In a country where an honest person can't do anything if he/she doesn't now someone, or bribe someone . Where a doctor won't receive a patient unless he buys him something or pays him some money.
I know how all this looks to you, but believe it or not it is all truth.
Trust me, it is hard to explain someone all this.
Why to Oz?It is my opinion, that there I would be appreciated, not like skilled emigrant, but just like a person. I don't care what I am going to do there(if I get approval) but I just want for my kids to live in normal country.

Maybe this isn't the place and time, but I just had to write it down.:(:(:(
