Hello Expat Gurus,

Just came across this on the NZ immigration site,

Is it really a concern for people who wish to apply for EOI,
Any reason why a sudden change like this?.

I know none of us are immigration experts , but just try to pick our brains to find out the opportunities for Skilled Migrant Aspirant.

Hello!!! We will have the new SMC rules for points calculation starting 14th August 2017. After the EOI pool selection on 19th July, all EOI submitted will only be assessed based on the new SMC rules and points system. The base 160 points eligibility is not getting changed. However, there is a change in the way points are awarded to different categories in EOI.
