Hi Guyz,

Could you please advice if my brother will come to australia to do Masters in engineering (Civil, Electronics or machanical) as he has done his engineering degree from REC (India). Which course will be better for him to get 60 points for P.R later.

I have found one in civil but not sure if it will get him 60 points or not.

Master of Engineering Science (Extension) (Civil and Environmental Engineering) University of New South Wales

Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Does he have a preference? I think all Engineering degrees at the Masters level get the same amount of points. He should probably base his decision on his interest and job prospects for the chosen path in 2 yrs.

I suppose this path is chosen as he does not have several years experience after his Bachelors degree. If he does can he pass an assessment from Engineers Australia. It seems the main intention is to get PR rather than just get an Engineering degree at the Masters level.
