Skill Assessment via ACS

Dear friends,

I am planning to apply for a PR in Australia (Visa 189), currently at a very initial stage. I am currently in Australia on Visa 457(Nominated Occupation - Telecommunications Network Engineer -263312).

Skill assessment with ACS"Australian Computer Society" is easy as they do not need CDR and IELTS/PTE in advance as compared to EA(Engineers Australia)

As I stated above that my 457 Visa is in Telecom domain, I want to apply the PR as a Computer Network Engineer and get the skill assessed with ACS. Does doing this will create any issues in Skill assessment or PR application.

Your present visa Anzsco code should not be a major problem

The main thing to see is if your roles and responsibilities match the requirements of the Computer Network Engineer Anzsco code

Have you analysed that ?

Hey
Thanks for the reply, I know my colleagues who are working in same domain and also have applied for assessment using ACS and that was not a problem for them. but the only difference for me is that they have not shown there relevent experience for 457 case.
