Anj there is no special reason for sending it as a paper based application, Just I was not having idea of online application. While applying online dont we need to send hardcopy of documents ? Or we just scan papers ?

no we dont have to send hard copies. they give you a month or 60 days (not sure about number of days) to upload the documents. its best to upload documents in pdf, that way the number of attachments is less. they have a limited number of attachments too. and if u apply online, u get to check your status online, for paper based apps u cant check it online.
