Hey guys, has anyone here shipped their full tower desktop to Australia?

Did it arrive safely?

Or how do you recommend me doing that?

There is no sense in shipping the entire PC.
Just take the motherboard CPU RAM and the hard disks/SSD with you in the flight as personal baggage

The Cabinet and SMPS the keyboard mouse you can buy locally and ask any computer guy to reassemble it for you.
It's a 30 mins job dis assembling and reassembling it.

That's what I did

Mine is a fairly new 24" Asus and I just dont wanna lose it.

You have no viable option to carry it

I sold off my 27" 1000$ UHD monitor for half the price and bought a new one in Melbourne

These are the pains you have to go through when relocating

I sold my desktop and bought a laptop for the time being. I calculated that I can buy a used PC for the price I got.

I did take out all the drives before selling.

I am surprised at your query & the replies you have given. Keeping all things aside and the logistics, have you figured out the costs involved v/s the value of your computer v/s efforts involved?
If you have the answers, then nothing else matters!
