I am moving my family back from Palawan for a few years and need to ship some stuff. Think about 2 large balikbayan box size crates of various items . I am looking for an LCL consolidated sea shipping solution. Anyone done this before and how did it work out

any recommendations welcome

cheers

I can only pass along some info from some on line folks I've chatted with...

It might be worth trying LBC Express. Based in London and have offices etc. all over Philippines. They ship both ways, not sure of the costs myself, but am aware of family members sending stuff previously through them, and as family there never have any money would have thought it not too expensive.

You might also wish to contact Balikbayan Box - Manila Forwarders
Manila Forwarders, Relocating, shipping and moving to the Philippines

....a few filipino friends in the Uk, one of those had moved back 2 years ago. Was told they used Highlightexpress in London for a complete house move. They also ship smaller consignments, and I believe are used by the Philippines Embassy as well. Might be a bit dearer, but obviously well trusted.

And there's supposedly an LBC office by the airport perimeter road (?) that ships boxes Out of PI.
