Hi,

I have got to the point in my life where I feel if I'm ever going to emigrate it has to be now. The problem is I'm 47 and not sure the best way to go about doing it. I will be moving alone so of course it's a little scarey but it's a now or never situation. I have my own property paid up so can sell. With regard to working I haven't been able to work in the last couple of years as had to give up to look after my mother who passed away last January. Since then there has been so many things to sort that I haven't gone back to work. I used to work in law but to be honest I'm passionate about the natural world and often do conservation work.
What is the best way for someone in my position to do if they want to move to Australia? Any advice much appreciated. Thank you, Liz.

Hi Liz,

Have you read through the sticky posts in the main forum?
There is a link to the visa wizard on the DIAC website and it will let you know what options are open to you.

Cheers,
Karen
