Hello all.
I have a query about self employment...recently I have seen that some people that are self employed are able to pay themselves a wage every month like a normal job. Will 6 month proof of this be ok to apply for spouse visa or is 12 month the best option?
Thank you

No. If you are self-employed (i.e. you don't work for somebody else who pays you), you are bound by self-employment rule which is in Section 9 of FM1.7 guidance. You need your annual account, self-employment tax statement, registration as self-employed with HMRC, certification by accountant and a host of other documents.
