Security Checks AFTER Medicals & PCC request ?

Hi All,

Anyone from HR countries had this experience where after getting a CO , you get Medicals & PCC requests (all other documents MET) and then after submitting medicals & PCC, the security check process starts ?

Is there a chance for Security checks to be conducted AFTER diac has requested medicals & PCC and they are submitted and MET ?

Plz share experiences.

Hi Naoto, are you sure, i thought everyone here said that DIAC will not request your medicals & PCC unless security check is complete first. I was under the impression that if someone from HR country gets a Medicals & PCC request from his CO, it means that he will skip the lengthy security checks.

PCC itself is a security check and thats all. However DIAC may further require security check if they feel or doubt something.

PCC is a character check. That's different to security checks. Security checks usually involve anti terror investigations, mafia and money laundering, drug syndicates, international crimes, visa violations and such.
PCC do not provide such info.
