I am working through the interview process with a French company and am looking ahead (hopefully) to what happens when I start working. Namely, i want to make sure that I've got all my documents ready to take with me.

For the life of me, I can't find the secu application or official information about what I would need to apply. Does anyone have a link to where I can find this?

Thanks!

If you're still in Canada, then it's the employer who has to take care of all the preliminaries as far as getting you a visa is concerned.

Once you get to France, it's the employer, again, who signs you up with the secu. Take a few copies of your birth certificate (though you should probably wait until you get to France to get them translated) - that's probably the key document. Make sure your passport, driving license, etc. are up to date. Anything else, you can probably get through your consulate in France or by mail via the Internet.
Cheers,
Bev
