Hi, I'm getting married in Burgundy next September and we're looking for a fluent English/French Emcee as the wedding will have Americans and French...of course they have to be entertaining as well to keep things moving! I'm pretty lost in my searching, and am not at the point where I would like to call and interview each and every "animateur"...hoping a good suggestion can keep me from going there!
Thanks!

If you're currently in Paris, you might try contacting some of the American expat organizations in town to see what suggestions they might have. AAWE, definitely (American women married to French or European men - many have put together weddings for their daughters and sons with visiting family from the US.) WICE, possibly the American University in Paris - groups like that may be able to put you onto someone who can "animate" your wedding. And even if you had to spring for train fare and an overnight stay to the site of the wedding, it would probably be worth it if you find what you want.
Cheers,
Bev
