My employer has given me 2 weeks in a hotel to sort out my accommodation, and I don't want to rush into a 12 month lease on somewhere so quickly so I'm looking for a short term room whilst I decide what to do. I've got until Friday to sort it out!

I've looked on Dubizzle and have called all the suitable adverts on there and nothing is available. Is there anywhere else I can look for short term rooms available?

A lot of hotels do apartments on a short term lease, a bit more expensive than renting but it will buy you some time.

i've checked out a few and its just not in my budget, i'm going to keep hunting for a room available. There must be one somewhere in Dubai

What's your budget? I just came to Dubai visiting, found Seven Sands Hotel Appartment to be alright, 250/ 300 AED per. night online, and 400 if you book in the hotel.

The place is located close to a metro and close to Emirates Mall, which is in Al barsha. Between Dubai Marina and JBR both 10 min drive.

Hi, you can also try search on Better Homes website (i tried to put a link but it didn't work, as I am a newbee, it is bhomes), choose short term. Also try serviced appartments. But that's true, usually short term or serviced apparments are expensive.

You'll need to filter out the low income room shares to find a proper western standard flat share. Put in 2,500 AED for the minimum rent.
