Hi All,

This is Kesar Ranawat. I am in the application process for Skills Assessment with VATASSESS under Information and Organisation Professionals nec(ANZSCO Code 224999).

I need to submit a cover letter as why my profession will be considered in NEC. I am wondering if anyone here recommend any format (sample) for a cover letter. I googled but not really found the good one.

Thanks in advance and appreciate your help.
Best regards,
Kesar Ranawat

Hey, Kesar did you apply with a cover letter then? Any pointers or sample.
Also What educational qualifications did you apply with for this role/job code?
I have a B.Tech in Computer science and Engineering, and a Post graduate diploma in management from NMIMS. Will these suffice?

Do you guys mind me asking what are your job titles and typical duties/responsibilities?
Are you doing programming/ data analysis stuff at work or mostly information/security policy related work?

(I am just trying to understand if a programmer analyst can take this assessment in addition to acs)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you to provide a detailed rationale for my choice of the 'nec' (not elsewhere classified) category for my VETASSESS skill assessment application. I believe that my qualifications, skills, and work experience align with this category, and I would like to explain why I consider it to be the most appropriate choice for my assessment.
I hold a [Your Degree or Qualification] from [Your University] and have more than [Number of Years] years of experience in the field of [Your Field or Industry]. My career has been diverse, encompassing various roles and responsibilities that may not fit neatly into specific ANZSCO (Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations) categories. Despite this, I am confident that my qualifications and experience are highly relevant to the Australian job market.
The primary reason for selecting the 'nec' category is that my experience includes a broad range of duties and responsibilities that do not align with any specific ANZSCO code. Over the years, I have taken on roles that span multiple aspects of my field, incorporating skills in [List Key Skills] and performing tasks related to [List Specific Tasks and Duties]. These responsibilities have been integral to my professional development, and I believe they make me a valuable asset to potential employers in Australia.
Moreover, I have undertaken professional development courses and training in Australia-specific regulations and standards. This shows my commitment to integrating seamlessly into the Australian workforce and adapting to the local requirements. I am well-prepared to contribute effectively to the Australian job market in my chosen field, and I have demonstrated a strong understanding of the local industry landscape.
Furthermore, I would like to mention that my qualifications and experience are highly sought after in various industries in Australia. By selecting the 'nec' category, I aim to emphasize the adaptability of my skills and my readiness to excel in a range of roles that may not fit within the predefined ANZSCO codes. This flexibility is a testament to my ability to meet the evolving needs of the Australian job market.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that my qualifications and experience warrant classification under the 'nec' category for my VETASSESS skill assessment. My diverse skill set, commitment to professional development, and readiness to contribute to the Australian workforce make me a valuable candidate in a variety of roles within my field. I kindly request that you consider my rationale when assessing my application, as I am eager to continue my professional journey in Australia.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
