Hello Group -

Question regarding the 6 month financial aspect of obtaining a visa.

If I sold my business and have the cash in savings and can prove it, does that mean that I also need to wait 6 months before applying? Just so the bank statements can be provided?

Read the following Appendix FM-SE to see what, if anything, is defined in terms of timespan for monies from sale of business:

I have not read anything regarding sale of a business which says that you don't have to wait until one has had the monies under one's control for 6 months - unlike say, sale of house, stocks, bonds, investments.

So, personally, I think you have to have the monies under your control for 6 months.
