Hi
Hi All,
I have done My Bachelor of Engineering in computer Science and I am working as an Analyst Programmer in one of the Top Reputed Companies in India and i have 5+ experience all in the same Company .

I have read as many threads as possible and i am having a confusion as to Which Application i should apply .

Whether i should Apply RPL or Skills Assessment .
Can anyone suggest me which applicaiton i should file with ACS .

I heard somewhere that Skills Assessment Should be selected only when you have more than one degree . Please help as i am planning to apply as soon as possible .

Thanks
Sathish.
Not sure where you got "skills assessment should be selected when you have more than one degree"..that is nonsense. IMO skills assessment by ACS is the only way to go. RPL is much longer process and there is no need for it. If you have a bachelors with a Major in IT and 4 years experience you will be fine. I have a Bachelor of Commerce with only a minor in IT and 10 years experience as an analyst programmer and got through with no issues with ACS.

Good luck

Thanks shon for the update. I have another question regarding reference letter. Since my company is not providing jd I am planning to get a reference letter from my manager .will my current managers reference letter is fine or should I get all my managers reference ....

And this reference letter can I have it on a A4 sheet or should I get it on a stamp paper .please suggest me
As many references as possible is what I would suggest. You need references covering the full extent of your experience if possible. The best is if you can get it on a company letterhead (and please remember the references must be contactable). If a letterhead is unavailable then stamp paper would be best. I would also say that if you can't get it on a letterhead then also do in addition to your letters and affidavit at the police stating that you requested the references on company letterheads and the company wouldn't do it etc.. Try to also get a letter of service from your company/ies as this might help as well.
