Hi ,

I am new to in this forum. I am interested to apply for australian immigration.
In this regard I want to know about the following.

I am an IT (ORACLE DBA)professional having a year diploma in Oracle and Oracle certifications but a master degree in other descipline.

1. Would I prepare RPL and two projects?

2. I really appreciate if I get the RPL sample and the IT related two projects from someone on this forum, which may be helpful for me to prepare my RPL and projects.

3.should I submit My RPL and projects to ACS if so how much its cost to send my application?

4.ALso would I gget 5 points for MODL because currently ORACLE specialist is in the list.

5.Also I have had 7 and 6.5 band in two ielts exam but the result is over 2 years. Would They consider my previous IELTS results?

6. ALso I want to know what other documents I initially submit to ACS?

I really appreciate your response.

Thanks

Hi

Welcome to the forum.

For RPL format, search the forum for RPL format, alizulf had posted it long back and many say its good. it might help

as for cost of assessment, have a look at ACS site. it has all details.

I dont know if youa re aware or not, but MODL has been taken off (for point calculation) on 8th Feb, effective immediately. so you do not get extra MODL points, but if your skill is on MODL, you fall in CSL so u do get processing priority. But CSL too will go in a few months. (check the last few threads, its all there in teh threads)

No they do not consider expired ielts. you have to either reappear for it or speak to the British counsil or wherever u took it, ask them if they can validate it again or u have to apprear for it again.

I dont think you have searched the forum, i suggest you do the same. this has been discussed at length in the past. for documents, u have to give everything and anything that supports your CV. pay slips, bank statements, employer as well as employee references, ID card, appraisal letters, appointment letter, confirmation letter, certificates (of excellence or performance based certs). so on and forth.

I again suggest searching the forum for ACS documents, and other key words. you cant imagine how much u can gather here :)

wish u luck

cheers

Thanks for your detail reply about my points.

I am little bit confuse, I jsut download the "General Skill Migration (GSM) points test review" in pdf format from immi.gov.au site. In that report in the "specific requirement " column it is mentioned that you get 5 points if you have atleast three years work experience in the last four years in an occupation on the SOL.
On the basis of this Would I get 5 points?

Thanks
