Can anyone assist with what is the best visa to apply for on retiring. We are thinking of moving to Spain within the next 2 years and are starting our groundwork, any information would be much appreciated. Thanks Tracey

welcome!

If you plan to retire, either the NLV (non.lucrative visa)Non-working residence visa

or the so-called Golden Visa Investor visa
Thank you very much for your response.
We are now looking at all options and legalities. I.e leaving our house mortgage free to be rented out, which would give us a steady monthly income, our concerns are with our savings quite substantial as I would not be permitted to work as I am moving with husband who will be retired, would we be accepted? Just looking where to start the process, would you know? I understand so far we need to have private health insurance for us both but with everything else we are just trying to find our feet, who to speak to,start, where to obtain forms etc... do we need to vacate the country after 90 days as obviously we will have no where to stay in the uk as we will have leased our home, and if so how long before re-entry back into Spain sorry soo many questions. Many thanks Tracey
