Hi Jrge and Joppa,

Im non eea national and I've got residence card issued last 02 APR 2015, I just want to ask if I can apply a biometric residence card as well. because everytime I travel to Schengen area some airline they were not aware of my visa which is residence card and I still need to discuss with them even though I am travelling with my EEA national partner and they want to see my biometric residence card. they dont even know what is EEAA means. So they still need to call the immigration officer just to confirm and I keep discussing with them about my residence card.

thanks and hoping for your reply

You aren't entitled to BRP as you are here under EEA regulations. So your residence card is all you need to evidence your status as family member of an EEA citizen.
