Hello everyone!

Firstly, thank you all very much for the very useful information and help that this forum offers. It helped a lot to get the EEA Family Permit for my wife.

My wife and I are moving to UK in August. I have some questions about the required documents for the Residence Card:

1. I am going to UK as a student (1-year master). Will I need to get a private health insurance (comprehensive sickness insurance) for both? Do you have some suggestions about which insurance company we should look for?

2. My family will be supporting us financially, which documents should we provide to show it?

Thanks in advance!

Yes CSI for both. Axa or BUPA. About £500 a year per head.
Letter of financial support, bank statement showing transfer.

Thank you Joppa for your quick reply!

I still have a doubt about the bank statement. Does the transfer need to be of a particular period of time (e.g. one per month for three months, so we can apply for the residence card only after three months)?
Is there a specific amount?
