Renting a 3 bed in JVT at the moment . I think it is quite expensive considering there's nothing but construction going on in it at the moment .
Any body any ideas on places to rent for good value for money

Anyone in Mudif?

If you're already renting you must have been here a while, have you not got yourself out and about? Met loads of people? Been to different places?

Really surprised at the question. For me Mirdif (not Mudif) is too far out, but horses for courses.

It's cheap(er) for a reason.

Where do you work? Where do your kids go to school (if any)? Where do you socialise? If your life is centered on the south end of Dubai, Mirdiff is on the other side of town and means a long commute. Traffic is pretty bad as it's in the Sharjah direction and you get caught up in the Sharjah commute flow. DIFC to Mirdiff only takes 20 minutes on the weekends, but during rush hour it can take anywhere from 45 to a hour. Is it worth it to save 20K on rent to put up with much more time on the road/traffic?

There are 2-bedroom villas in JVC that might be worth looking into if you wanted to downsize into something cheaper. I've been in one and it was actually quite spacious.
