Hello!
My partner, my baby and I are planning to move to Madrid region by Sept. We have been quite stubborn by looking for apartments in Alcobendas/SSRR, but we can't seem to find what we want, and have thought of getting some fresh ideas from you. Ideally, we would like to find a family/kids & expats friendly town, from where we can reach Ronda de la Comunicación (Alcobendas) by public transport in less than 30min. We would like the "typical" apartment in a complex (swimming pool, new-ish construction, airco...) and for this I've used Idealista and Fotocasa, but we are stuck in our search.
Could you give us some alternative areas where we could search?
Thanks in advance!

Unless you want to rely on buses (which limits your distance if you max out at 30 mins travel time) it could well be difficult.

Which really only leaves along line 10 of the Metro towards Madrid....

Your geographic area is quite limited so if you're not seeing stuff you like on Idealista it's probably simply not there. In Madrid at least a very higjh % of the properties for sale are on that site.
