Hi there

We are moving to NYC in a couple of months with two small children (1 and 2 yo). Before we leave I'm wondering if there is any paper work (excluding the obvious VISA) that we need / should complete that might make it easier when we arrive.

The kids will be looked after by me initially until we get settled but eventually I'm anticipating daycare / Pre-K.

Thanks!

:)

Not really paperwork to fill out, but gather up all the "usual documents" (birth certificates, vaccination records, copies of health records if possible, including your own) and make a couple of copies to have available on arrival. At some point you'll either need them or they'll come in handy - and it's much easier if you have them already at hand and copies made than to scramble for the originals long distance. (You'll have enough other things on your mind for the first few weeks...)
Cheers,
Bev
