Hey all,

I'd need some help on the process of registering a scooter in Spain. I'm about to buy a 50cc Vespa from a private vendor and wanted to know if anyone can give me information on what steps need to be taken?

Yes, I want to register it in my name. It is currently registered and has insurance in Spain. It's a 2004 Vespa. So, can I simply take over the former owner's insurance and keep the plates and just run it on my name/nie/account, or how do things work here ?
