Hey Guys,
Hope all well.
I wanted to find our information on 187 visa. I have read it is a regional sponsorship but a permanent visa to live and work in Australia. Can someone throw light on the same?
Also, is there a separate occupation list to apply for the same?
Please suggest.

Thanks a lot Parth. I can see my occupation mentioned in the list. My overall score is 65, excluding SS points. I don't know how many more points does 187 fetch.
Currently, i have applied for SS from NT, but since it is a slow process to assess out there and might take 6 months, do you think i could apply for 187 as well?
Please suggest.
Thanks again.

Unlike the General skilled migration visas 819 and 190; 187 is not a points-based visa. You must be nominated by an employer from Regional Australia for this visa.

Read the eligibility requirements on DIBP website before proceeding.
