Hi,
I had done assessment in ACS back in 2015. It is going to expire soon so I am going to do reassessment again. I am still working in same company in the same field (computer network) but with different position name only. I try to update my position and date of employment in ACS page after login. But it doesn't allow me to modify. In such case what should I need to do. Previously it was 3 years but now it is 5 years in same company which I would like to update while doing assessment.
My title was IT Technician in past and now it is Senior IT Administrator. Roles and responsibility are almost same. It is just my promotion in position and salary only.
Should I have to add new experience for this.

You would surely need a new current reference letter from the company as you want to claim this period experience also.

In the meantime drop an email to ACS, and ask them for a solution on how you should ideally load which documents again and how,to do it

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Yes, I have a new reference letter with new date from same company but roles and responsibility mentioned in the reference letter is same as previous.
I hope that wouldn't be any issue.

No problem in that

In fact it makes the job of the assessor so much easier

You may get the new assessment very soon after application
Get in touch with ACS and take their advice on how and where to upload the fresh documents

Actually, I'm in the same boat as Udhyan. I just had a positive ACS assessment few months back (About 8 months) but I'm applying for a new ACS assessment in different related occupation again.

There is no change in job designation or roles and responsibilities since my last assessment.

As I'm using the same ACS account which was used for previous assessment, the End Date is populated with the date which I have entered earlier for the last assessment. I want to change the End Date of my current job to the new assessment application submission date since I'm currently still working on the same job.

Do I need to re-issue new employment letter again? But it will be hard to justify to my HR since I already issued it like few months back from them and also the end date in the reference letter is written as "Till Date" so I'm assuming the letter should be still applicable now.

How can I proceed with changing the end date? Please help.

i just received +ve outcome from ACS, submitted on 09/08 and received the outcome on 05/09

Do you want to claim points for the experience you gained in the last 8 months or are you satisfied with the experience as on the date of the last reference letter ?

So, do have to re-issue the reference letter? But the only thing changed in the letter will be the issue date.

Already done ACS assessment in 2015 which is expired now. So ACS must hv my previous records. So can't modify rnr.

Shall I go for acs renewal in same occupation 262111 or consider some other options such as 262112 ICT security specialist. It would be a great help? N what all things state consider for state sponsorship?

In last assessment I havev given 2 -2 reference for each company, now 3/4 referees are working in other companies. Do I need to provide thier current company details or do I need to take reference from other employees which I am currently working with. Shall I upload previous reference docs along with new document stating that I know this person from xyz date to pqr date and he work full time in this company etc.

Do I need to my show my oca n ocp certificate as well ? If I will hide then probably they will do physical verification. As in my previous assessment I have uploaded all my qualifications docs and certificates including oca and ocp certificate which clearly states I m certified DBA. Don't you think these certificates are not related to security specialist.

I would like to get few details regarding..

Can I apply for two occupation to get assessment from Acs?

If yes, both should be separate submissions with separate fees?
Is there any issue If start submitting

When we submit for ACS reassessment...do we need to do the Notary attestation again for the document submitted for first assessment.

I had done ACS assessment in 2016 which expired now...i have done notary for the new employment letter (2018) but what about the documents thats already done in 2016 such as Passport, Educational certs, Marriage cert etc.. Do i need to do it again?
