Hello,
I am American and lived in France as a student (1989 and 1991/92) and then again as a spouse of a French national from 1996 to 2003. I had a Carte de Resident 10 ans with full right to work valid through 2008. I divorced in 2003 and I've been in the US from 2003 to the present (2013) and am re-married to an American. He is in the process of finalizing a job offer in France and I will follow. My husband will obviously have a Carte de Sejour associated with his employment, but I'm worried here about my right to work.
My question is: does anyone know if I will be able to simply renew my Carte de Resident de 10 ans once I'm on site with my long-term Visa? That would be such nice news!!
