Hi folks,

I wanted to know whether my degree would be classed as an ICT Major by ACS. I'm applying for the 189 visa as an ICT Business Analyst with over three years experience in this role. I studied Economics with modules containing more than the 25% of the required ICT content. The problem is that the title of the modules do not sound ICT related, i.e. econometrics, thesis etc. Is there a provision in the application to explain where the IT content is in my degree?

Many thanks

Tim

Thanks Zaback21,

I saw that but my whole third year is listed on my transcript as Year Abroad Module 1 and Year Abroad Module 2. Will that be sufficient even with a legend?

Thanks again

I can't advise you on that cos only you know how much of your degree is ICT related. If you don't think they sound ICT, you can always try attach syllabus or link of syllabus from uni if ACS accepts.

If it will be ICT minor, then you need 4 years work exp which you lack.

Ask here: http://www.expatforum.com/expats/au...-ict-major-ict-minor-not-ict-category-10.html
