Query on ACS assessment 189

792 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  namy
I have worked for an Indian IT company for 5.5 years, I am sure I can get Service later stating my start and end date from the company.

I have been on deputation for every alternate year, but I do not think they will mention that I have worked abroad for them.

As "Skill assessment guidelines" says :

"The country in which the employment was performed must be stated clearly in the reference. If you
have worked in multiple countries for one company, the employment reference must clearly show the
specific dates and corresponding locations where the employment was completed."

is there an alternate way or acceptance ?

I can show my salary slips for the deputation period(which shows amount paid in the local currency and bank) but would that be acceptable by ACS ?

Thanks in advance !!!

Just a service letter won't suffice. You need a detailed RnR letter from your employer listing down your skills and duties inline with your nominated ANZSCO. If your employer is willing to provide you with such a detailed reference letter, then chances are they won't have much problem stating where (in which country) you completed these duties.

Thanks Keeda,

for the prompt reply, My employer has a set format for the service later they will not deviate from it.

Yes, they will mention the responsibilities but they will refrain to put more information like when and where I have worked for them.(ex Jan 2014 till Dec 2014 in UK)

They will mention
Full time/part time:
Designation:
Salary:
Employment start date:
Employment end date:
Responsibilities:

will the copy of my deputation letter will do the job ? in case they do not mentioned it in the Service/reference letter.
okay, understood, but still try to convince them to add a separate section about your locations. If you aren't lucky in achieving this, then I am not really sure how strict that requirement is, but we can always ask ACS themselves. I'll PM you.

BTW, we discussed somewhat similar topics a few days ago here: http://www.expatforum.com/expats/au...05378-acs-onsite-experience.html#post13261386
