Hi friends,

I am planning to apply for assessment (ACS). Category 189(skilled migrant)

Background:
1. Qualification: Bachelor of science (computer science)
2. Work experience : 6.2 years in computer field (MNC)

** Subjects in B Sc. were Physics, Mathematics and Computer science**

Query: In my Bachelor degree certificate and marksheets, the program name mentioned is "Bachelor of science" only.

1. Kindly suggest if it will impact my assessment and work experience.
2. Will it come under ICT major/ICT minor/Non-ICT.

Hi Sammy

BSc with Non IT (33%) subjects will be refered for RPL. and ICT Minor or Non-IT.. so possibility of deduction of 6-8 yrs.
so you could be left with 0 experience with 0 points and ICT Minor goes with 10 points or NON-ICT is 0 points.

Could be a possible case of negative assessment.

do you have any other certification like Microsoft to prove some IT Subjects, they can fetch you 10 points but reduction in experience could 4-6 yrs ,depending upon the assessor.
