Where is your PhD from? There is a good chance it might not be considered equivalent to a Canadian PhD.

It is from the WES recognized university of India
to be specific 'Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University'
That doesn't necessarily mean that a PhD from that university will be equivalent to a Canadian PhD - it just means that WES recognises the university... nothing more, nothing less.

yes it is a Canadian equivalent

thanks for pointing out that
I have verified through applications.wes.org/ca/degree-equivalency-tool
it is indeed a Canadian equivalent

That tool is not definitive, it is merely designed to give one a general idea.

What is the PhD in, and what form did the program of study take?
Let me elaborate in detail
PhD topic is kind of mix of Organic Chemistry and Material Science specifically OLED

Post that started working as Sales manager for the scientific instruments company( 2 years)
then took the long gap of 1.5 years (in between some work in scientific lab proper experience letter may not be available)
then tried as sales manager in tech outsourcing company (7 months)
then corporate sales for training institute (3.5+ years)

I understood what that tool did, but I am saying it just provides a general idea and is not definitive.

Your doctorate might be considered equivalent to a Canadian doctorate, but they will have to examine the program of study first to determine whether it meets Canadian standards.
