Dear Friends,

I have received employment reference letter from my previous employers but they have not included my annual salary and Business card of signing authority. The letter is on company letter head and has all other details. Is it fine to submit this kind of reference letter?

Also, my current employer declined to provide a reference letter. I am planning to get an Affidavit done from one of my colleagues. Hope an Affidavit for the current employer will work.

Kindly help me with some clarification on these 2 points.

Ask CIC directly - they're the ones who will be adjudicating your application, so only they can give you a set in stone answer to your questions.

None of us works for CIC so we cannot give you a definitive answer. Any answer that we might offer would be a) anecdotal and/or b) based upon conferring with the CIC website.
